Network Tiering

To keep our service fast and responsive for our users, we automatically rank users into tiers based on their overall bandwidth usage.

TIER1
Applied whilst your account has less than 1TB bandwidth usage. You'll have a maximum downlink speed rate of 35Mbps and 35Mbps uplink for the remainder of your yearly plan unless your Tier changes.
1TB of data is roughly equivalent to 100 hours of streamed FHD/1080p content.

TIER2
Applied whilst your account has less than 3TB bandwidth usage. You'll have a maximum downlink speed rate of 20Mbps and 10Mbps uplink for the remainder of your yearly plan unless your Tier changes.

TIER3
Applied whilst your account has less than 5TB bandwidth usage. You'll have a maximum downlink speed rate of 12Mbps and 5Mbps uplink for the remainder of your yearly plan unless your Tier changes.

TIER4
Applied when your account has more than 5TB bandwidth usage. You'll have a maximum downlink speed rate of 4Mbps and 3Mbps uplink for the remainder of your yearly plan.

More information:

  • Having a lower Tier is better.
  • When you renew, we reset your account to Tier1.
  • All accounts start at Tier1.
  • All accounts have unlimited bandwidth but we introduced Tiers to ensure accounts do not saturate our network and slow other customers down as a result.
